John Morgan and the History of Manassa, Colorado
Here is an article my brother sent. He found it in a book he inherited from my grandparents. Thanks, Jared!
I love your blog. My ancestor lived in Georgia and had the privilege of having John Morgan in his home as evidenced by John Morgan's journal. They were among those that migrated to Manassa, Colorado and I mentioned it briefly in my blog post http://www.asouthernsleuth.com/2012/08/they-lived-in-manassa-colorado.html.
I feel indebted to John Morgan and the other early missionaries to the Southern States. Their sacrifice has blessed many generations.
I liked it for the small glimpse it provided into a portion of John Morgan's life (and some of the westward migration of southern saints).
